WAYZATA, MINNESOTA, US — Cargill was the only agriculture company named to Fast Company’s fifth annual Best Workplaces for Innovators list, which honors organizations and businesses that demonstrate a commitment to encourage and develop innovation at all levels.

Cargill came in at No. 33 for its commitment to innovating with purpose, empowering its customers, fostering a collaborative work environment and delivering sustainable solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges.

Developed in collaboration with Accenture, the 2023 Best Workplaces for Innovators ranks 100 winners from a variety of industries, including entertainment, biotech, consumer packaged goods, marketing, education, healthcare, and many more. Fast Company editors and Accenture researchers collaborated together to score nearly 1,000 submissions, and a panel of eight judges reviewed and endorsed the top 100 companies. The 2023 awards feature workplaces from around the world.

“We’re thrilled to receive this recognition, and it’s just the beginning,” said Florian Schattenmann, Cargill’s chief technology officer and vice president of Research & Development and Innovation. “Cargill is a place where innovators can deliver lasting and meaningful impact on a global scale. The challenges we’re facing around the world are getting bigger, and the time to solve them shorter – ranging from getting enough food on tables to climate action. That’s why we invest in innovation and attract the best talent to collaborate on purpose-driven solutions that help our customers and partners overcome their biggest challenges and seize their greatest opportunities.”
