VINTRIE, SWEDEN — Since launching its latest generation of grain sorting equipment in January, BoMill has worked on three installations of its BoMill InSight.

Two machines are now in operation and a third one is scheduled to start later this year.

“We are in a crucial phase for the commercial development of BoMill InSight. I am delighted with the success of these first installations and the positive feedback we get from our customers, both on the equipment and the service we provide,” said Andreas Jeppsson, BoMill chief executive officer.

On April 1, 2022, BoMill received an order from leading Danish mobile grain processing company Gl. Buurholt. The installation of BoMill InSight on one of Gl. Buurholt’s trailers was completed this June. After commissioning and training, the customer has now taken full control of the operation of the equipment. To build awareness toward farmers, Gl. Buurholt has started promoting the technology through various events, media and collaboration with Danish institutes.

Aurora Mühle Hamburg, part of the GoodMills Group, ordered the equipment in December 2022 with installation finalized this June. Following an initial training phase on the equipment, BoMill InSight is now fully operated by the customer. The BoMill team is in regular contact with GoodMills to follow up progress.

A leading multinational grain processing company signed an agreement this May for BoMill InSight installation in Latin America. The installation of the equipment is part of a project evaluating the BoMill technology at the industrial scale to support further investments in the future.

The BoMill team is currently working on the production of the equipment, liaising with the customer for a delivery according to the planned schedule.

The BoMill sorting technology, based on grains’ inner properties, can help recover downgraded grain, in particular in developing markets. BoMill InSight can further optimize the use of domestic production, reducing loss while further enhancing the quality of what is produced, BoMill said.
