GEAPS, KSU partner on grain conveyor training

MANHATTAN, KANSAS, US — The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) and the IGP Institute at Kansas State University will offer a hands-on training course for the maintenance of grain conveying equipment Dec. 5-7.

Five presenters will teach participants how to safely install, operate, maintain and repair conveying equipment commonly used in grain facilities through instructor demonstrations and hands-on practice over the three-day course. Guidelines on how to develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program also will be provided.

The course fee is $1,800 for GEAPS members and $2,000 for nonmembers who register before Nov. 15. After that, GEAPS members will pay $1,900, and nonmembers will pay $2,100. For more information, visit www.geaps.com/conveyor-training.
